Just think, a skyscraper in Rome, the Eternal city, it would mean having the opportunity to admire the most unique panorama in the world !
The overall concept of the structure of this building is real simple. On each floor there are 8 villas positioned on a grid and the core of the building will hold elevators and stairs
The space between the villas creates 2 views for each side making it possible to have a 360 panoramic view on each floor, even for visitors, additionally, this will fill the public areas with plenty of light.
I contemplated a building that keeps a persons needs in mind- a home- space that commences from the exterior and flows inside of the home. A building that gives the possibility to live in a villa without giving up the pleasure and exhilaration of looking out on to the Eternal city and yet being one with nature.. a skyscraper with villas!
The villas are composed of 4 models
Model A = first floor: living room with a suspended staircase in view and large glass windows looking out into the garden, kitchen, a bedroom with a closet, bathroom. Upstairs: 2 bedrooms with closets and bathroom, a studio
Model B = Model A + tree
Model C= Model A the upper floor is slightly bigger
Model D = model A with 3 bedrooms
The garden can be enjoyed all year round thanks to the glass exterior of the skyscraper
The windows are slightly separated from the skyscraper to allow for a natural air flow and are electronically controlled, depending on the force and the direction of the wind, every 3 hours , this gives the illusion of a skyscraper in movement.
